anyways it was a filled weeek. we got to montana camp sometime before 6 and we did games for the people there and it was good. also did skating and climubing wall on that day and i got the job of finding ppl's sizes for skates and than finding there shoes after it was done...ya it was adventureous and smelled awful of shoes haha! on sat there was a group coming at 8 in the morning while another group was there until 12-1 ish. so we got to enterain the kids and did integracion with them while the previous campers that were there before did some mud games stuff.
however it was intresting cause usually theres a spanish speaker and one of us on a game but since they were with the mud, it was mainly our group doing it. that was intrestnig in its self. there was one or 2 guys who stayed and helped from the normal staff so that was nice. i did skip rope and i got a huge blister on my pointer finger. ya it was great. in the afternoon we did various activities and there was chapel and what not. in the evening it was more games and than in the later evening we did roller skating and climbing wall again!! it was super fun.
this time i was on security so i helped kids do up roller skates adn than i stood in the middle of the gym and when someone fell down went over there to make sure they were alright. it was pretty decent. a couple times there was one person who was like no estas bien but than looked at me again and switched it to, yes i need help...haha gotta love being blonde and a "gringa" there was one guy though who "couldnt skate" now whether he was just doing it or acutally could, i didnt know. all i knew was that i was helping him attempt to skate and he was hanging on for dear life...that was an intresting expereince. but im glad i got to help him out despite whether he could actually skate or not. while i was also standing in the middle one of the staff memebers came and we danced a wee tiny bit in the middle cause there was some awesmoe music on and than after another came and we danced some more. and i cant move my hips for the life of me and so he stopped and i followed his instructionn of hip moving haha gotta move those knees lol. but it was really fun!! after i was standing by the rock wall and than some guy came up and started talking to me. surprisngly i could for the most part understand him adn i attempetd my best in spanish to speak back. we talked about the camp, where he lived where i lived, how long i was here, what was i doing here, about canada and costa rica and what not. there was a few times i had to say "como" just because he mumbled a lot and i didnt get much when he did. but it was good. than he asked if i had aboyfriend haha and if i was 16 and i said nop, i was 19 and than he is apparently 15 or 16 i didnt really catch it but a lot younger than me...but he was a nice guy ill give him that, but overall it was good practice. on sunday morning we did water activiites!!
and that was super fun. i was on the jump deck thing helping and checking life vests to make sure there tight and good. it was fun. someguy wanted me in a picture with him so i got in a random guys picture! lol. also played a bit of ninja on the water trampoline so that was fun!! and than after we went into the chapel and danced it up with the kids that were there casue they played some awesome music. afterwards they were leaving so we got some pics with ranodm ppl, said bye to otheres and than the guy that i met on sat night, i didnt catch his name..gotta love mumblers, put his hand on my shoulder and was like ciao daniela. and i was like ciao back, surprisngly me cause i wasnt expecting to see him again but it was eventful. and than we travlled back. the first bus we were gonna take came passed us and than we had to wait for another one. we got on the bus around sometime after 2 and we got the joy of standing up sicne it was full. after we got to san ramon, we switched buses and than went to san jose. however i dunno what happened but once we got there we had to walk around some and than it was getting dark by the time we got onto the bus and than we went to the bus stop near our school and it was pitch black by the time we got there and we walked to school and made it around 6:40ish so that wasnt too bad. had supper waiting for us and than we ate and had worship afterwards!! it was good, we didnt have music but rather just sharing time. and than we got a bunch of prayer requests so than we split up into groups and prayed for the various things asked for pray for and that was good. after there was cake for dessert and it was super good :) afterwards me and beto cleaned the kiosko together because cody took my 3 supper dish days and so i cleaned the kiosko for him. i went to bed not too late and but as early as i could of but passed out mucho. had an earthquake last night but i slept through it :( i was kinda sad about that. but o well. becca however managed to wake up and yelled earthquake and i still didnt wake up!! amazingly enough as she sleeps like a rock. well all i can say is i must of been tired from this awesome weekend!! cheers :)
