so monday morning came around and first it was the usual monday morning worship which was good. and than after was a class on genesis so we had that until lunch. than after lunch it was my ministry!!! soup kitchen once again. so me,gen and cody were the main ones so we went and hung out with the games, played various games like british bulldog,duck duck goose,skipping etc...it was very fun!! however my little girl from last sem...well she wasnt there that time :( hopefully she comes sometime when im there!

those are some of the pics from the afternoon and among other games is also spinning which they love. its a great workout! but than came back, had a shower and chilled, played guitar for abit. and i acutally jammed with Pablo on sunday :) however i lost the guitar pick he gave me today :( sad times!! after supper it was doctrine of christ time with don marco and that was good. than on tue, we had genesis again, and in the morning when i woke up my throat was not feeling the greatest but i let it go thinking it would get better. anyways in the afternoon, i handed in my paper that was due, went for a 35 min run :) was able to do 16 laps in 35min!! which is 4 miles. and i sent my scanned claim form to my parents so there officially taking care of it! thank goodnesss! and i no longer have to worry about it!! than i went to the doctor with becca as she wasnt feeling the greatest but luckily there is nothing serious with her! however when i was there my throat started getting super bad, it hurt to swallow a lot and even taLK! so than i ended up just not talking anymore. i went to the pharmacy at the hopsital and they gave me some pills - 4 of them.

and my attempt at taking a photo of my pills without me being in the picture, and hopefully u can kinda see how its one side is solid and the other has orange and white circle things that make noise when you shake it. never had medicine like that before so it was a new experince and so far a good one!!
well it worked extremely well! after i took the first one, i have to take one every 12 hrs, after a wee bit i can kinda speak and swallow now with not a lot of pain! yay!! the pills are called - Flamydol Retard...a most intresting name. well they work so i wont complain!! than we had genesis in the evening and we ended up watching a movie called the mystery of life and talked about darwin theories and pretty much contradicted his theory since there is so much more science to see the smallest of things it was fairly intresting..i fell somehwat asleep for afew min, a few times during it but not too bad!! and that is my first couple days of the week! cheers! :)

A Most Relaxing Weekend

So friday came around. it was the day where mostly everyone left. the spanish classes left to go stay the weekend with a tico family, however it ended up being just clarissa's parents house on the beach. than threre was the missions trip experiemnt where they go to the place that were gonna haev our missions trip and they figure out what were gonan do and what not. friday afternoon, pato, his goalie coach, me and jose did soccer stuff. i got a bit of "goal keeper" training and that was fun to just chill and play soccer. but with the missions trip, i was to late to sign up so i stayed here with becca,jose,cody,ethan,german,glenda and so that was our weekend. it was pretty good, very relaxed. me and becca hung out a lot. on friday evening we watched a movie, one night with the king which is based on the bible story of esther and that was fun.

and on sat, it was very low key. all day, all i did was either computer,read,watch movies(we watched 2 - one i forget the name of and the other one was the count of monte cristo, both intresting but i def like the monte cristo better.

and thats becca, she changed clothes like 20 times and for some of the day i watched her dance around crazily with super tacky clothes on while i was doing some wiriting. def intresting. on sunday i went to a english church!!! :D yay!!! it was awesome. i loved it. went with the marcus family(which by the way im in their family again) and im def going again!!! in the afternooon i skyped with lisa and than went for a 25 min run after not running for a week! set a new record!! :) 12 laps in 25min. and than had supper, a shower and than me and pablo jammed together!! :D i learned more stuff adn have more stuff to practice and im super excited to hopefully one sunday night worship to play with him! that would be so amazing to play with pablo, my friend and guitar teacher!! after sunday night worship just chilled and danced a bit than went to bed!! and that my dear friends was my weekend!! so relaxing and nice! cheers :)

Wed-Thurs

So yesterday we had class in the morning but instead of having class we had a half day practice from the spritual disciplines class and we had a party! made a fire in the dirt pile and had yummy food!!

and theres cheesecake that katie made for us! :) it was super super de duper good!!
and we had that until close to lunch time and than we just hung out until it was camineta time and I was with alyssa. it was nice to talk to her and get to know her better. we had a most lovely time. afterwards was work day. me,kiley and jaydaa were in charge of raking up the leaves by the greenhouse and bringing them to the stick/leaf shredder thing. it was a pretty decent job!

and thats juanes...absoutly crazy tico but really cool. hes one of the staff at Port and the one we had to bring the leaves to!

i got to ride this lawn mower thing, the thing attached to the back is where we put the leaves for them to be shredded. it was pretty awesome.

and cody somehow got his hand swollen by touching something in a tree? maybe? we dont really know.
but than after work day we had worship night in the evening. last wed night of every month we have a special worship night and so that was really cool. we sang songs, prayed, had candles lit up everywhere. it was super gorgeous! and than afterwards well we were a bit crazy, there was dancing and handstands and just being absoutly crazy and wacko, it was pretty awesome not gonna lie. i got some great video footage which im stoked to put on fb one day because us bible school kids are crazyy :P we also got our ministrys and in-house ministrys as well. im doing the soup kitchen again because i did it last sem so i got to do it automatically if i wanted to and i have gen and cody with me. we planned last night and so it was pretty awesome to get together and just figure out what were gonna do. i have an awesome group! im super stoked for it to start. and for in-house minsitry im with kate,cristof and david on the 2nd sunday of every month we are gonna plan the sunday night worship thing. so that should be good!!
thurs has been pretty good so far. had jorge's leasdership class in the morning for a wee bit and finsihed everyhting by 11:25 so than the rest of the day is free until family night :) which im super stoked for. so im hoping to be able to get a lot done and catch up on all my work so that i dont die next week!! but i have all weekend to do it...man ima procastinator! which is bad but im working on improving it.
so i talked to the insurance company today and in the end I got steven to call the hotel and talk to the manager and poor guy, this has never happened to him before and so he doesnt know what to do, so he is gonnna call the insurance company and talk to them and we are suppose to call him back tomrow at 11 and so we"ll see what happens whether we get anything or not...well its in God's hands now. theres not much we can do. but that is currently the update with the insurance company.
so i dont know if i told you much about the pill im taking for my head but its a muscle relaxant and...it makes me tired and relaxed but man do i feel good and get a lil loopy. but than im super exhausted in the morning because it kills me..thats the only problem, but only 2 days left!! woohoo!! family night is tonight! and were watching a movie apparently! lol. hope its a good one! well it ended up being megamind and that was pretty good!! never seen it before and now i love it. but that was my wed and thurs. cheers! :)

Insurance Company Days

So my head hurted so much on monday and felt like crap so after monday morning worship Tom went and drove me to the hosptial to get it checked out. luckily we had no class this mornign and it was just a morning to read our stuff and what not. so me and Tom went to the hospital and than after everything the doctor reccomendded i get a CT scan. so i did and it cost 450$ and tom paid for it because my parents couldnt transfer the money right away as they were gone from the house and i got it done and nothing is wrong thankfully and i got some cool scans of my skull but...after all of it comes insurance time. so i file my claim, and start to fill out the papers. i get a call back from the insurance company and in short they cant go forward with my claim until i get an insurance number or a incident report filed from the hotel. which is gonna be kinda difficult because we never filed anything with the hotel and so they have no record of the incident. the insurance company is being a bum and so freakin stupid but than thats what insurance companys are like. and so this was happening all on monday and tuesday and so today Diego is gonna call the hotel and see if anything can come out of it. but who knows since the hotel has no record and so if not than ill have to call the insurance place again and well talk to them some more about what to do. i hope that someone will cooperate and that some money will be returned to us as its a decent amount. but who knows...and on monay evening we had Don Marco's class and Tuesday evening had Toms class so same old. same old. we picked our ministrys yesterday, im staying with the same one - soup kitchen so im super stoked for it!! and today we have our celebration and our last class of the spritiual disciplines class and so it should be good. and today will prolly be talking some more with the insurance company and i just pray whole heartdly that someone will do something. o update on the drugs, so i get drugged up at night when i take the night pill, and funny stuff i do say according to my roomies however it feels nice when i take it but in the morning it drains me and i have no energy or will to get out of bed. but i have another pill to take during the day adn that helps some so its turning out good but i just wanna run again, i miss it and the race is coming up very soon so i need to run as much as i can!! ya...but it hurts to do sudden movements and so i cant really play soccer or run atm and ima gonna try after my pills are done. 5 days of it. and so im on my 3rd day. but thats were i am atm. cheers! i hope to have some happy news next blog post...

Thurs to Fri to Manuel Antonio :D

so on thurs it was another relax chill day. literally had class for a short time with jorge and than had the rest of the day free! it was awesome. a bunch of us went to kaffa!!

thurs evening we had family night and it was caputre the flag!! o ya :) it was fun but def a challange as there was 4 teams and ya it was crazy. but i had an awesome time however no one won!! but thats okay, it was good bonding time!

friday was a chill relax day as well. class in the morning with jorge and the new kids for spanish classes went to san jose and did the rally thing we did last sem. didnt do much that dday, pretty much partied it up. :P. i went to bed super late because first it was me and becca but than we felt llike we were being watched so we got cody to go check out the dorms for us. and than becca left and it was me, gaia and cody just talking till 12 and than jeremey and kattia joined us. gaia gave us some hemp seed stuff and apparently there was no side effects but i got this nasty pain on the side of my head and i didnt feel good. who knows what it was from though. but than in the morning it was good and we left at 6 for the beach!! woohoo!! it was an intrestnig weekend!! we drove there and it was good, everyone went to the national park and that was fun! hung out at the beach and walked the paths abit!

we got to see some monkeys close up. howler monkeys and it was really awesome!! theres a mom and a baby!!
than we went back to the hotel, for supper and it had a pool! it was pretty awesome!! but than we were playing around and i came up out of the water and whacked my head super hard on the bottom of a cement bridge...ya it was not fun but i shook it off and contiued on playing. we did chicken fights and played sharks and minnows whcih i also managed to smack my forehead on the pool wall. but it was fun! and afterwards though i didnt feel so good so than i went out of the pool adn isa and steven came to talk to me and i got changed and got ice and drugs and than isa called the doctor and well since we don;t know if it is a concussion or not to have me woken up every half an hr for 6 hours...i felt so bad for my roomies! so we ended up doing it but stopped about 1:15 nbecause i seemed fine. however in the morning i still wasnt hte greatest so i stayed at the hotel while other ppl went to the beach for a couple more hrs!! i turned on the ac, tv and went under the covers and just slept like a baby. however my head seemed fine for a bit when iw as getting ready to leave but it got worse the longer i was out of bed. so we went into the vehicles and stopped in jaco for lunch.

theres me and my "best friend" which if you read my other recent ones u would know about him. but it was a pretty awesome ride home. i slept most of the wayy and than we got back,and supper and worship and my head feels like crap!! so diego said if it still feels rotten tomrow than he ll take me to the doctor. so i guess weÈll see. so we got home and us girls on the second floor, our shoes were missing. we immediatley knew it was jose, as a simimlar incident happened last sem and so we found them strung up on a rope from the boat house across the sm lake to a tree.

and thats our shoes hanging from the water. while attempting to get them out, they fell into the water lol. it was fun afterwards with the help of almost everyone else we got joseès clothes and started to hang them up. however the tree we chose wasnt strong enough and it broke and the clothes fell into the disgusting lake...haha. than jeremey went a threw some clothes down onto a metal sheet

and than he came home and found it and well he barely reacted. but than today jaydaa and jose were walking and he said were gonna have fun tonight..im assuming he meant the 2nd floor but who knows. plus he wanted to borrow my camera for something. its intrestnig. me and rachelle did all mission impossbile and tried to sneak up on jose,pato,gaia, adri and glenda who were meeting in the lake house. but who knows. should be good. and had a guitar lesson with Pablo today!! that was fun. and now im having a lovley skype with kayla!! :) but that was my weekend!! cheers!!

A most intresting Monday - Wednesday

So monday came around and we have the same schedule in a way, spanish classes and spirtual disciplines class. only discussion for a tiny bit and than the rest was free time. so i worked on my hmwrk like no other and got a lot done. not all of it but a lot which was good. however i got sunburned...fairly bad...in the shoulders and back a bit where my tank top never covered and my legs

there in the healing process...hopefully i get somewhat decent before leavnig for the beach on sat!!
but in the afternoon the 1st semseters were going to a ministry to check it out and it was the orphanage. we as 2nd semesters had the choice and I chose not to go and stay here and work on my hmwrk instead. it was good and than after somthee of us went to go get ice cream and after supper we had class on doctrine of class by Don Marco. he is such a good teacher and its an awesome class. learning a lot. I went to be fairly early as on Tue morning I got up at 5, went for a 40min run, had a shower than we went to this park place to practice the stuff in spiritual disciplines class.

it was very nice and like 3 hrs on ur own. it was very good. i enjoyed the sun and the park. but I was super exhausted the whole time from my run. when we got back, it was pretty much lunch time. after lunch it was a busy hustle. we found out the 2 honduras were finally coming and there was katie baking up a storm and helping with dinner and what not.

there are also bags hung up with our names on it because it valentines and its awesome that we can give valentines to each other. we are not allowed to look at them until sunday evening however. but its all good. im stoked. after supper we had class on intro to the bible by Tom and it was very good as well! learned a lot from that class. and after we learned how to do a bit of swing dance and it was fun and me and gen were partners and we totally got the hang of it super well. ya, it was fun. on wed we have spiritual disciplines again and had a bunch of the morning free. afer it was caminta and i had adri as my partner :) we hung out in the hammacks and it was very nice. after for work day i was on the pisos and that was fun. it was me, ethan and christena. twas a good group after i just chilled and had a shower and than i talked with the honduras guy for a bit. hes soo good at english. we've had some intrestin convos. after supper we had nothing and than me and german is his name talked for a while.(becca plays a part but it will be in chronicals of becca) anyways we are now apparently best friends after 2 days lol hes crazy but a cool guy. that was my wed, pretty uneventful but got to know the new people better so it worked out good! but today in class with jorge, well we were laughing before and me and aa couple girls and than i think it was beccca and she well i dunno if it was her but somehow with her and steph and christena and kiley well they told the whole story to everyone else and the teacher...about the spoon feeding and how were best friends and what not. it caused a good laugh haha and than they were going on all the other guys i have attracted...like at montana camp apparently i dont know the difference between fliritng and not flirting but aparenetly since i played ping pong and basketball and even danced a very small amoutn with one of the staff apparently i was fliritng a tiny bit. i dunno though its been an intretsnig week so far thats for sur. and than theres the 16 year old from montana haha it was fun to have a spanish convo with him!! well more to come cheers :)

Chronicals of Becca Part 2
So Becca once again, when we had the earthquake she sleeps through anything but she woke up and yelled earthquake cause she was super happy she woke up and even though the whole tower was shaking I was passed out like no other but amazing that Bec woke up. Last night during class me and becca played a gizillion games of tic tac toe. we were both pretty tied, winning about 9 games each and a bunch of cats games as well. yesterday however she is no help in i dont even know what to call it but with my "friendship" with german well she just makes it worse and more akward but its all in fun and its funny!!. so i told you we were best friends and well i dunno how but becca was around everytime this happend...he spoon fed me 3 differetn times- one with a piece of cake and 2 with some cocanut and he gave me a piece of his bread, ya it was werid. ive only ever let becca give me something to eat with a spooon but yesterday he did it 3 times so its very intresting but becca also told him that im not here for a boyfriend but a husband..o boy...she has fun with this. and so does all the other girls who are now "teasing" in a wayy even though theres nothing. but becca def makes it more intresting. i love her mucho mucho mucho. she makes my day so much better. and german, well its gonna be an intresting sem. lol.
