So this weekend was insanely awesome. on friday we had spanish classes and a leadership class depending if u were 1st or 2nd sem and than it we had a bibical prayer class in the afternoon and than it was free for all! woohoo! we didnt do much. but gaia has a friend who made up this game and so we played it. it was acutally amazing for a made up game called zwoop. it was fun and im stoked to play it again! everyone kinda went to bed sorta early because ppl had to get up early for rafting but it was still fun! so on sat, a bunch of ppl left early for white water rafting, and some went to san jose. the ppl who were left...me,jose,rachelle,cody,jayda,steph and kate played in the dirt pile made by the digging of the ground so that we can have a baptismo tank. it was fun and we were sliding all over on cardboard and that was failing so than we decided to add water and have a "water" slide. that was fun.

getting the waterslide ready for some fun :) and we got super muddy but it was super awesome. we built a hole in the top were we all managed to fit somehow...but it was a tight squeeze. so fun :) had a skype convo, short but lovely one with my family and than we all showered before lunch and than after lunch it was a low key chill fest and than the rafting ppl came back right before supper and than after supper i had a lovely skype call with katie which was cut short because we were all gettign together in the kiosko to have brownies and jello..in a bag!!! and watch the "portantorchas movie" that jose and austin made and than we watched the princess bride!! :) which by the wayy is amazing and absoutly awesome!!. after they decided to watch toy story 3 but i wanted to see if i could skype with katie some more and so she was on but was busy so were planned to skype later that evening. kelsey came on, waiting for jose who was in the kiosko so he forgot so me and kelsey had a most awesome skype call :) and than she left and katie came back and than we chatted some more and i got to see tim and kenny as well so that was nice! than i went to bed because i was super exhausted and i needed to go for a 35 min run in the morning. so sunday came around and i woke up at 8:30 and only managed to run for 20min before i could feel my shin splints coming on and so i stopped there! however i have super awesome news...so the last time i ran 20min, i managed to do 9 laps and than today i managed to do 10. so that means im improving :) im super stoked for that acheievement. so maybe i will be able to run this 10k after all... but than we went to church, it was communion sunday and after we went back, had lunch and than jose told me to come play soccer and i agreed thinking it was gonna be 1 on 1 or something and than we were just chillin and than he said that joelle, the kid of alba, came with his 2 friends. so than it ended up be me,jose and adrian against joelle and his 2 friends. so in short it was me, a white canadian girl, playing with 5 ticos. ya it was certainly intresting...i mean i think i held my own and hopefully impressed them a tiny bit and proved that yes there are some white girls that can play soccer. but it was really fun! i really enjoyed it and it was good practice. and than after we had a 'event planned" and it was more or less a mud fight with water and waterballons. ya it was crazy!!! really fun though!!
and theres me,evans,gaia,erin,jose,cody, and gen. we got sooooooo mudddy!!! lol but soo worth it :)
after we got changed and than chilled until supper than after supper it was worship night and we sang songs nad talked about what god has been doing in our lives and what not. than after we went to the kitchen and had a yummy dessert! i dont really know what it is but it was sort of like a lemon merigne pie. ya it was good. and that was my weekend. pretty darn awesome! lol.
