Tue - Fri

So Tuesday came around and it was just another typical tuesday. Had class on the Panorama Biblica and than in the afternoon I worked and managed to finish my paper on the Holy Spirit. Twas Kinda Awesome. Than in the evening we had class again and that was uneventful tuesday. However the class is pretty good. Im enjoying seeing how everything is connecting and what not and ya. On wed we had camineta and I had Glenda. She's a sweetheart, i managed to understand what she was saying and i managed to speak back in spanish so thats a good thing! It was good practice for me. I really do need to practice more...anyways after was work day and i got to do raking with sarah. That was pretty decent, then in the afternoon there was missions trip meeting and that was fun. After i didnt do much but hung out than in the evening we had class again on the same thing and than thursday came around. In the morning we had class than a free afternoon! Afterwards in the evening it was family night! Since there was no supper as we were skipping that meal as a group for fundraising for the missions trip, i made myself a box of KD!! it was super good :) and than afterwards for family night we made cheese biscuits!!!

i ended up helping the girls clean their room than i had a little fun dressing up...i love being a little kid again even if its only for a short time! lol
than friday came rolling around and found out that theres gonna be an exam for this class. More or less its gonna be putting the cards in order and than having the guy ask you questions about each section. My partners are adri and cody. Should be good. Im not too worried..key word worried :P haha. And that is happened in the 2nd half of class. i aced it however and so that was fun. afterlunch we have a class on well its not really a class its more like a big devo i guess so thats hapepning and than right after that...off to montana camp for the weekend :) woohoo! im stoked! its gonna be my offical last time ever there! looking forward to this week!! cheers :)

Desert Factory and Friday to Zip Lining and Monday

So on thurs it is the same old same old. hr of prayer or small group in the morning and than class on the holy spirit. afterwards there was ministry and i just worked on my paper and there was no supper. as once a week, as a team(everyone at Port) well the students anyways r gonna fast for supper and that money we save will go to our missions trip! which the fundraising is going awesome. thank you to those who helped out! greatly appreciated :) and than family night came around! we went to the desert factory where you make your own dessert. it was kinda awesome!!!

on friday we had our last class on the HS and than we had to finish up our paper that was due on grace and justification. it took me a very short time. it wasnt that long. after in the afternoon kids from the other bible school down the road, all gringos and from the states, came here to Port and we played soccer. it was really fun and there a cool bunch of ppl! i like them and it was really really fun playing soccer with all of them. and they are fairly close as well. so i hope we get to see them again! after la cumbre left and la montana left (weekend camps, as one of the ministrys you can chose) and than it was just a relax evening. we watched a movie. a really cheesy chick flick that cody picked out. but it was cute. than i went bed. on sat we left at 7:30 for ziplining!!! :) o ya!! it was soo fun! so awesome, scary at the beggining but so fun! we had 11 ppl go and it was a party. the hotel was gorgeous and the staff for ziplining were awesome. it was my first time going and it was so fun and i would totally go again!!

thats my group that i was with! we left at differnt times so that there wouldnbt be a huge lineup. as soon as you finished the tarzan swing, and there was like 5 or so you would go off with some intsructors.

we got to climb into a tree! it was awesome. however about half way up we had to go on this sketchy wooden bridge thing. that was def an adventure. before that we got dropped straight down or slow whatever the person belaying you chose...he had fun with us. it was scary but so fun!!

afterwardsw we jsut chilled, swam, watched hercules and than on sunday we just had freee time for a bit so we walked around the town, suntanned, read narnia and just had a nice relaxing time! than we drove home and that it was worship after supper and it was so nice to pray together, worship and share what god has been doing in our lives. ya, afterwards i went to bed super early because i wanted to finish reading the book i was on. so good - the hunger games series is what i was reading and they are addicting! i finished the 3rd one today and thats the end of them but ya it was good! monday came around and with that new daily duties as well! i am now room check for the 2nd and 3rd floor. its a pretty decent job! and than moring worship than our first class on kinda a overview of the whole bible. so far its pretty decent. im looking foward to it - panamana bible its called i think?? lol. but twas good and than after it was ministry! there was so many kids there! but it was so fun but such a drainer of energy!!

our devo was on daniel and the lions den today and we also sang some songs! it was awesome! and that was ministry. aftewards didnt do much and than after supper we had class on doctrine of christ and of course like always its just such an amazing class. soo good of a speaker! after, gen got a bunch of tim tams so we taught everyone a tim tam slam, well those ppl who didnt know about it. twas fun. and that was more or less my life. cheers :)

Girls Tea Party!!

So Wed came and we had just another typical wed. camineta in the morning. i was with gen! :) it was super awesome to get to know her better! and than after it was work day!! first time of the semester we started to the do the lake! it was kiley, jeremy and me! lovely times, pulling out weeds than bringing them to the back of the property, you certainly didnt keep clean with this job!

afterwards our bathrooms were cleaned so nice by glenda but...me and kiley full of poop and mud and who smelled awful messed it up by needeing to have a shower. however we didnt make it to messy!! haha. afterwards we had a missions trip meeting and we picked out a design for out t-shirt and the colors of it! im super stoked for it. after that it was time to get ready for the girls tea party! each small group made 2 things something sweet and something savory. soo much food! but it was so fun!!

Sun - Tue

So Sunday, the day after the race and I was exhausted. I almost didnt have any energy to get up for church but I did and it was awesome. I met some really nice ppl and they invited me to a young adult bible study at 9 during the first service and that would be perfect cause than i would join in the 2nd service at 10:30. so hopefully that goes over well and im able to do that. after church i had lunch than went to pay sara and tom back for the cat scan that tom paid for me. after got back and there was a tea party and carrot cake for alyssas bday! twas awesome. and soo very good :) and after i worked on philippians. in the evening, we had sunday night worship and that was always a blessing like always and i shared about the race and how God was there with us all the time and helped us in so many ways! thank you God! on monday morning we had monday worship and than we started a new class on the holy spirit! im super stoked for this class! it should be good. our teacher who is teaching it is from BC, thetis island where a capernwray bible school is!! woohoo! hes pretty sweet of a teacher. after that it was afternoon and soup kitchen time! it was me, gen, cody, evans, and kattia, we did the skit on the good smaritan. i was the person who was beaten up. twas fun!

after i worked on philippians some more and than it was supper time! after supper we had class on Doctrine of Christ by Don Marco and that was of course amazing as usual. On tuesday, in the morning we had family groups, david gave a devo this morning and after we had a class on psalms and than after that we presented our phillipians to our family and did that all morning. in the afternoon it was really chill and laid back. i went to nova centro to get out money for zip lining - monte verde which is happenign thsi weekend :) im super stoked!! its gonna be awesome!! and than i made yummy food - spinich dip and crepes and fruit for wed tea party at dona janets house! we get to dress up and drink tea and have a good time. last sem, 2 guys crashed it and ya. but tomrow should be good! im super stoked! after we had the rest of philippians presentation with our family and than off to bed for me! cheers :)

A Crazy Week

So monday came around and it was a monday with the his hill ppl. we got to chat a bit with them and than they were gone doing their missions work. and so it was like any other monday,worship in the morning, class on philippians in the morning. at lunch we got to see the his hill ppl again. than they were gone again. however 3 of the his hill ppl came and everyone split up into different ministrys to join us. i had 3 join us and they were awesome :) it was great to get to know them better!

twas a fun day, and afterwards more or less chill until supper. than the his hill ppl stayed and we hung out after we were done our class. it was awesome. the next day it was similar, we had psalms in the morning and than the rest of the morning was for our self-study on philippians. so that was nice. in the afternoon it was free for me and so it was just chilling and partying it up :P afterwards we had a self-study class on phillipians some more. afterwards pica offered to drive us to MCD's and so voila. his hill ppl experincing a MCD's run!

i also went for a run in the afternoon. it was my super long and i ran an hr and 5 minutes and did 30laps and 4 laps is 1 mile so its to late to do the math but i went over 10k which was awesome! i was kinda pumped. however after that happend..well i think i pulled a muscle cause it really hurt and i couldnt do much, kinda sucked. but afterwards in the evening, after MCD's i stayed up till 12. me and luke talked a lot that night, maybe? lol all i know is that we talked fairly late a couple nights. hes a pretty awesome guy. but maybe it was mon or wed evening, i cant remember but o well lol. anyways wed was here and we had camineta in the morning. my partner was erin!! woohoo! it was nice to chat with her again we already had so many caminetas but it was still nice to have an "officail" one. after was work day and i got to move dirt from the pile to the ground and spread it out. twas fun. afterwards we had a missions trip meeting and we chose our memory verse for our shirts! woohoo! in the evening we had the one special worshp night a month and that was relaly cool. it was by the camp fire and we had smores and sang songs and it was just a powerful time! afterwards we went star tripping!! woohoo! twas fun to do it with new kids and "initiate them" lol. now i cant remmebr whcih night we went to MCD"s but i know we went again and a differnt group came.

on thurs, it was more philippians class and i got some medicine. some kind of muscle relaxant so that my leg would stop hurting and i could run. as it was family night that night and we were playing soccer. and so i tested it out for soccer so iu knw if i could use it for my race. worked amazing. didnt feel a thing! woohoO!!

that was family night. it was awesome. friday morning was when the kids wereleaving and so at 4:15am i went and with a few others from here went to the airport to see them off! it was quite sad. even though we only knew each other for a week we got fairly pretty decent friends for that short of time! and than they were off! when i got back to port, i went to bed until breakfast and than we had class on justifiaction taught by Don Marco and it was soo good as usual. sucha good speaker! after it was philippians for a bit and than after that...wWEEKEND! woohoo! and the guys all went to do something at betos house. us girls had a pizza/movie time.

we got home around 9:30 and i went straight to bed. so tired. it was def an intresting dayy though. evans knee and my leg did not hurt at all! thank you god! and we had to take a bus to the starting line and last yr it was free but this year evenyone had to pay 500 colones and of course its half an hr til the race and were too far forward to go back and grab money or we"ll be late. god is with us!! thank you lord!! a lady gave us the necesssary money to get on the bus so we made it to the race on time :) god is good! thank you lord! so rewarding! even though it was a crazy, hard race it was so rewarding. evans got around 45 min. i got around an hr. pica and rachelle around 1:07 and gaia around 1:20. times and dates will be out soon i hope! lol. but ya. that was my crazy week! cheers :)
