Missions Trip at La Fortuna! :)

So for this semesters missions trip we went to La Fortuna. It was an awesome time and i liked it better than last semester missions trip. so we all got split up into different families and me and erin were together. our family was awesome!! and we were super close to the church so it was like a 3 min walk.

i miss her soo very much!! it was about a 4-5hr drive so not to bad and when we got there we just spent the rest of the day gettin to know our families and than the next morning it was sat and at the church at 7:30 for breakfast and than it was kids actiivites in the morning + those who werent helping went to the work site to start getting ready for building the church. i helped out with kids activites in the morning.

we had music as well!! afterwards i went to the work site and me and alyssa got put on this rock. that wouldnt come out no matter what! it was intense thats for sur, but a good workout.

we had to first dig out holes all around the area where we were gonna be building the church to put the poles in!

that rock...its a pain...thats all i can say. than we went back to our families for supper. and than in the evening it was a talent show! :) we had some great acts come out! the next day it was sunday and thats when the worship team was doing their thing for the service, it was a 3 hr service ish. 1.5hrs of worship so quite a while.

i love becca! she was on bass. i guess she wanted to spice stuff up for the photos! lol i was in the nursey and they had a bunch of tools and stuff in it so we were ina differetn room and since parents just leave their kids with us and go back to the service we figured it would be better if we had more help. so i had gen,heonuk,german, and pika with me. twas a fun time.

theres german! afterwards there was a afternoon tea put on for the ppl of the church and along with that was a soccer tourny. there were a bunch of guy teams and our guys made it to the semi finals!!

they played good! there was 3 girls teams and we lost our game 1-0 but they only scored on a penatly kick. however we could of beat them if they acutally played soccer. a lot of the girls were never on a team for soccer before much less really played soccer but it was still awesome!!

we had a lot of fun!

girl power forever! after there was a concert outside and that was fun. the worship team played a few songs.

and than on monday it was our first official work day for all day. so we had breakfast in the morning and than off to the work site and we were there all day.

funs songs and a skit! On wed all we did was work. i ended up painting all day.

there was 10 ppl doing painting all together and this was the finished product!! On thurs and fri we worked for half days, i did painting again and than the afternoons-evenigns we did acitivites at the high school.

the walls are getting whiter! for the high school we it was somewhat similar with a few differences!

we also had a skit on the prodigal son!

we also did rock paper sissors, we did other games as well and it was just all around a great time!

doors and windows are coming next week hoefpully but that is what we managed to accomplish!
