First Full Week of March

So Monday came around and we had worship in the morning. and that is always such a blessing to have. than we had some more genesis taught by Tom and that is such a good class. def learned a lot. in the afternoon was my ministry!! woohoo! and so there was evans and cristof joining us and the book we were gonna do, well it didnt make sense becasue it was translated from english to spanish and so it sucked more or less. so than in a 25min bus ride to the soup kitchen we managed to make up a skit of david and goliath and found random props. it acutually turned out amazing and cristof made it a success. hes so good with kids. he was goliath. evans was king saul, i was a sheep and davids brothers, gen was david and cody was the narrator. it was soo good.

than the guys ended up playing soccer.

and spinning as well is quite fun. that time we did double at a time which was intresting.

than the kids, espeically the girls decided that they wanted to be picked up and thrown in the air. so we let the guys do that! hahaha.
and than after we had doctrine of christ with don marco again and he always gives ssuch a good class on tue we finished genesis and for our hmkwrk we could either write about the information he gave us or do our own genesis of how we came to Port. I chose that one and so I wrote how I came to Port. more or less it was a revised edition of my testimony. the last hr before we had a meeting about ministrys and that was good. in the afternoon there was ministrys

and than in the evening we had our final class on genesis. wed came around and we had camineta and my partner was steph and it was really nice to get to catch up with her and everything. it was also her bday. come to think of it, we had a lot of brithdays this sem gone and coming up.

me, erin and beto made a cheesecake for steph adn than we gave a piece to jayda as well casue it was her bday!
after was work day and i got to do the guys sheets. woohoo, in the dorms and it felt so werid because i was in there last sem and now its guy infested. lol. but it was good, me and kate also cleaned the apartment because we have his hill ppl coming. more on that later. anyways after we had a missions trip meeting. we split up into groups for the missions trip! im doing sunday school :) and i get to hang out in the nursery which is what i wanted. so i get to hold and play with babies (0-1 yr olds) im super stoked. its gonna be fun!! we have to raise 8000$ or thats what we want to so were thinking of fundraising stuff and sending out letters to the ppl we know asking for prayer, contributions etc...so ya we made our goal last semseter so we should be able to make it this semester. it may seem like a lot but with god, anything is possible :) isn't he an amazing god? after that we had our first class on philippians. its a self-study so wed evening was just explaining how it was gonna go, and what to do adn what not. our family groups get split up into different sections of phillipians to present after our self-study is done and i get philippians 3. im stoked for this. i love self-studys. its such a good wayy to let the holy spirit speak to you and everything. and so its due on the 16th. so hopefully i dont procastinate and get it done on time! lol. thurs came and we had small groups or hr of prayer in the morning. however our sm group ususally meets on fri but clari wanted to do thurs afternoon with us beascue she was going to go to the beach with the his hill group and so we had an hr of prayer and than we had a class on grace. it was such a powerful class. so insane. he asked if any of us were holy and blameless and no one put up our hands but than he said we should put up our hands because it says in his word, through christ we are made holy and blameless. it was just a great eye opener and everything he teaches is amazing. in the afternoon than me and my sm group went to a coffee shop and hung out there and that was awesome. in the evening we had family night! we made peruvian food, and flynnigan(thats what i can ben) was in charge and it was super yummy.

that evening his hill ppl came at like 12:30 - 1 they arrived so i never met them until friday morning. in the morning alyssa shared her testimony as were gonna try to get someone to share it every friday morning if ppl want to. than we had breakfast and i met some of the his hill ppl but than they left shortly after breakfast to go to the beach. diego and clari went with them because they knew a few ppl that were with them. after we had the self-study class on phillpians and that was pretty awesome. than the rest of the afternoon was free!
as for my sickness, well i was just getting stuffy nose, sore throat, coughing a lot, headaches at random times and i just was not doing good that past week. i ended up taking a bunch of medicine and finally it started to work on friday. but it took forever and it just wore my body down and i just felt exhausetd and it was so hard to get out of bed and my immune system sucks atm. and ya it was not fun. but than the weekend was a good recovery and over the course of the weekend i became much better. however i didnt run at all because i couldnt. i felt awful adn had no energy and of course my race is in a week and so i was stressed and beating myself up for being sick and it just wastn good. def not the best week of my life. but now i talked it out with ppl, and just through various things i dont beat myself up anymore and i was well enough on sat to run :) yay! i did 55 min and did 26 laps which is what i need for the race. so i can do 10k its jsut a matter of on sand and sun beating down on you. that should be intresting. but we:ll see how it goes.
i played guitar a lot that weekend and im getting to know the 2 songs that i learned thanks to erin. im super stoked to learn them because there awesome. they are, how he loves and here i am to worship. so im super stoked. and than pablo came! :) and i had a guitar lessson and jammed a bit with him. he is so good at guitar. he is currently at the uni taking music classes. hes just amazing at guitar and everything. so i have some hmwrk and its good stuff becasue its so that i can learn to just keep strumming while switching notes. im getting it. slow process but its getting there. on sunday afternoon la cumbre and la montana returned and so did the his his ppl as well. in the evening we had sunday night worship and it was my groups turn to plan it so we did that earlier and it turned out awesome. it was really nice to get to knwo the his hil ppl better. i ended up talking a lot with a guy named luke. he is super cool and from alberta. sherwood park area and so ya there all awesome ppl. and that is my week in a nutshell. cheers :)
